About me and the site

Who are you?

You can call me Gin and i’m the webmaster of this archive.
I’m in my twenties and since May 2020, i’m interested on maidloid and h-loids.

I’ve come across this world thanks to Rev’s cover of SIU, where he used Himekishi Riyona. At first, i didn’t like the cover that much but as i continued listening to it, it grew on me.
It took me a few days before i discovered Acme Iku and it was love at first sight: such a strange and silly voicebank immediately took my interest and it never left me.

After a few months and learning the existence of others like her, i made a promise to myself: search and preserve every single one of them.
I decided to use neocities as my place to host my archive because the indie web is less of a cesspool than social media, and i don’t think anyone can understand my reasons why i’m still holding this interest of mine, despite the many problematic things in it.

The purpose of this site:

As obviously stated in the site name, the archiving of everything related to the topic.
This means everything including: voicebanks, official material, fan-made content and information in general.
Creating a place for me and for everyone who wants to learn more about this or are curious about it.
Is also somewhat a safe place for me to rant and create content about the characters in question.

Preserving doesn't mean endorsing

I stated this already but i’ll repeat it just to make sure: i don’t condone most of the things portrayed.
I know about the weird and creepy sexualisation of most of the voicebanks (especially of the only three child looking characters i cam across), how most of them are depicted in misogynistic stereotypes and how they're treated in general
I know, they aren’t real, but it’s something worth calling out.
For the love of god don’t go and harass the people i will mention.
